Kentucky Derby

Well I got lucky in the annual Derby Poll and have Brother Derek to win.

Just a fluke, but the owner is Canadian (Cecil Peacock from Calgary.)

Usually when my name goes in the draw, I get stuck with a slow runner.

Looking forward to tomorrow's race.

Lawyer Ron for me. Not sure where I'll watch the race. Post time is at 6:04 which is right when I leave for work. So I can go in a 1/2 hour early and watch it there or leave for work 5 min. late and cut it close to my 6:30 start time.

My father would have had some money on this race. He was a big racing fan having owned horses in his younger days and also being a trainer

Sad to think that he's not here for this, but....
He hated the way Americans pronounce Derby
