one suggestion that _might_ help guide people to use a search feature is to have a search feature as part of the title bar. check out forums.gentoo.org for their search feature implemented. perhaps they'll share their modifications to the phpbb with ya
. just a heads up. originally it used or for the words entered on the serach, but that didn't ever produce many usefull results. searching for "taxi prices playacar" w/o the quotes should only give the results that contain those words. if someone wants to be more general in their searches, that's what the search page is for
yep, they still get lots of dupe questions and such, but that's probably b/c the general search engine could be more google like in nature. or have a better rating system for the results it finds.
