You obviously don't now too much about English History. So maybe you should read a biography about her, and get a little more perspective about her. Elizabeth I was one of the longest ruling monarchs, and she was very well respected and loved by her court and subjects.

She was also able to keep relatively good control over her all male advisors, in which half either wanted to marry her or over throw her.
