Any Art-Photography lovers???

Thought I'd share this. This is a friend of ours art work. He has really started to get some exposure within the last year. His work is very unique and creative. Every piece is based on photography. Most are manipulated , some have pigment added.

He has work in many galleries in the southwest, Taos and Palm Springs.
Pat's a great guy we met in Palm Springs 2 years ago, we are so excited for him and his work. Last summer we held a show for him at our home that was sucessful.

He is starting to get some serious exposure, last week receiving a call from Harpo (Oprah).
Any ways check out his site, which is new. As with any art, I don't think it can be viewed the same on a website as in person. The pieces on the site are just a fraction of his collection and diversity. Unfortunately, it costs real money to TM each piece. So it's an expanding public gallery!Enjoy!! I know we do.

Check out his site galleries, some of his stuff, like the 2nd piece on my original post, is actually like a 1 inch square taken from a photo, and manipulated. Great stuff!

Very nice. I've been doing a little of this lately myself, some quite like the bottom one. Just sent one off to the printers.

We bought a FANTASTIC photo print from a photo artist in Playa named David (forgot his last name) from Vincent's gallery on Calle Corazon last year. When I went into the gallery a few weeks ago though, all they had were hurricane pictures...

I ended up running into David at 3am at La Santanera the night we bought his print. We ended up getting drunk together and he make me promise to send him a picture of his art on our wall! (Which I did!)

Interesting guy, REALLY interesting art!!! Anyone else seen it?
