The Practice of Self-Abuse
NO..... it's not about THAT (although Webster's online dictionary does give that as Definition #2).
I'm wondering if I have a guilty subconscious or sumthin...... The other day while cleaning the backsplash behind my stovetop, I leaned in from the side of the stove (with enthusiasm and vigor) and smacked my forehead HARD up against the sharp (of course) corner of my range hood. After spouting a couple of *#$&'s and ever-popular *!@%, I continued my cleaning project deciding that if blood started to drip into my eyes, I'd stop to inspect the damage. Luckily, blood didn't happen, but there's a nasty mark covered by the remaining 1.5 layers of skin. Then today, I stopped for groceries after work in a driving rainstorm. Upon returning to my car, I opened the back door of my SUV, tossed the bags into the back seat, and while I had my head bowed down into the gale force wind-driven rain, I grabbed the handle of the driver's side door, and yanked it open as quickly as I could.... right into the top of my head. I flopped into the driver's seat moaning in pain, holding my head, while the tears came. I haven't felt pain like that in a verrrrrry long time. I would've traded a dozen range hood smacks in the forehead in exchange for that. I couldn't even think of starting the car for about 10 minutes. So.... do ya think I have a guilty conscience and I'm inflicting this upon myself in retaliation?? Should I buy a bicycle helmet and wear it on a regular basis?? My head still hurts from that damn door. I should check it to see if I dented the edge of the door frame..... |

I knew you were a head banger.
I know your pain. I always hit the cabinet above the stove. Rub it really hard and know that we love you. And is this rain ridiculous or what? I guess its suppose to go on for almost a week. I will soon start banging my head too. |

The bicycle helmet is a good idea. My daughter has a nice pink one with cats all over it. It would be a nice addition to your fetish.
Hope your head is better. If your head is still swollen, you may want to go up a size in the helmet. Watch yourself, accidents always come in threes. |
