Again, I apologize and hope you all have a great day. stevo
Ah, the traditional "Let's get so hammered we don't know what we're doing" Mother's Day party. :p One question: can we meet your Mom? We think we'd like her.

yeah, I've found it's best to pretend everyone is sittin around a table doin shots of tequila instead of sitting behind a computer in another part of the world. I really don't see the benefit of judging an unknown person by the country they're from or who they voted for in the last election. I guess I've personally met over a hundred members here and there is not one that wouldn't be welcome at my table whether it's in Playa or at home. Of the members I haven't met, there is only one that I would really have to engage in a man to man conversation before sitting down and drinkin ( there are lines one should just not cross)

yeah, but you're probably envisioning them all nekkid with colorful inflatable kitty cats in their laps. I find that rather distracting myself.

  1. I agree
  2. What's "PUI"?
  3. I like Roni's posts, which for me serve I think the opposite purpose. I see him as kind of like what James "the Ragin' Cajun" Carville "should" be (although of course James Carville would not be James Carville if he were any other way, so that's just a sort of offhand bit of imagination, there). He (Roni, that is, not James Carville) even soothes my Mac believer tendencies.

Steve

P.S. Sorry, but in keeping with the topic of spirited political debate and because it's too good to pass up, that link I just discovered has an excellent quip among the quotes from Carville:

Republicans now have their own network on Fox, so guys who don't like to answer questions, like Trent Lott, have a place to go to hit softballs.

I just wish that people who leave do so gracefully...and not make a big show of it.

PUI=Posting Under the Influence

You apparently do not spend nearly enough time in the mindless party threads!

I am always saddened when people get their feelings hurt or someone is intentionally mean. I'm glad you're back and your hangover is better!
