Office Depot now in Playa

This probably only will interest the locals, but the other day we noticed a giant Office Depot opened on 307 (on the beach side, not the ejido side)--I think it was between Calle 2 & 4. Seems like these places pop up overnight!

James says it sucks, but I know he is just saying that to try to keep me from going there (I have an office supply fetish that could potentially bankrupt Playa.info). It's really not fair, you know. In my OLD job, I had my very own Office Max credit card.

I know what you mean. I get excited over the smallest things, like my new pop up post it notes that are a different color every other sheet! or my new rotating desk organizer . I am a Staples fan myself. Next time I come down I'll be sure to bring you some great office supplies Heather

Greatest. Store. Ever. Actually, it's just like all the other Office Depots in the world, except in Mexico everything is more expensive. But still. I was in heaven. I bought stuff to replenish my Day Planner, as if I will suddenly start using it again after over 2 years. I can't help it. I'm ill.

Yeah, J and A could pay me with Post-It notes, colored paper clips, and desk organizers, if only those things could pay my rent. Now folks who wonder what to bring me from the US know what I love: office supplies. Office supplies and Cool Ranch Doritos. But now I am WAY off topic.

Given that we are both in the same boat workwise, I'd wager you're tied to a PDA or at least a dayplanner. I feel naked without my Blackberry. My wife, on the other hand, is not so enamored with my Crackberry addiction...

PDA's? Can you even buy them any more? I bought one for my wife a couple of years ago. Almost instantly went obsolete! Crackberry will only be good for a few years until the next toy......the ultimate business tool like a Swiss army knife that has all functions of an office rolled into one device. The next model you will be able to have that same device surgically installed into your body.

Verizon VX6600 Pocket PC phone. I *JUST* dragged my wife (kicking and screaming) into the 21st century by getting her a VX6700!

Speaking of off topic...

I found an idea for your NEXT Halloween costume! I was so enamored with the trailer park trash look, I saw this and thought it would make a great Halloween costume for SOME lucky lady. I thought I would give you first "crack" at the idea!

Heather ... you are too funny. You do realize that everyone and their brother is going to bring you office stuff now. I'm stopping at staple on my way home tomorrow to find you something special.
Now come on peeps ... we need to feed Heather's habit so she'll keep feeding ours!
