i live in wayzata...ended up in playa for the first time last march and it was love at first sight...i will return as soon as i can...i think minnesota people are really good at partying(winter survival) and relaxing...in the summer i highly recommend madeline island...it's in lake superior...not tropical...but beautiful, fun, and a great escape...i think about returning to playa on a daily basis...see you there

Funny Story.... Twelve years on and off in Playa and I had to meet Evie, a Playa Local, when she was tending bar at Tom's Burned Down Bar on M I. Now she has an excellent little eating place right across the street from The Beer Bucket. The actual story is longer and funnier...hope I get a chance to tell you in person at the Bucket sometime.

Jaime,
Go figure, we spent part of our honeymoon 15 years ago on Madeline Island. We will be in Playa in March and will stop by the Beer Bucket to hear the rest of this story. Can't wait!!
