I took the initial post to be doggums teasing local 8 about having a kid now.

Am I confused..... or perhaps the only one who's seeing the joke here???

P.S. Do a search. Local8 is from Manhattan.

Karen, you are correct. Doggums is trying to get a rise out of Local8 for dropping off of the face of the earth after the arrival of Little8. (However, were Doggums and the missus to have children, they would surely be quite cute.)
