New to the Forum

Hola -- I'm new to this form, though my husband and I have visited PDC and Paamul a few times over the past 10 years. We are contemplating traveling from Atlanta, GA to Paamul this coming winter in our travel trailer. Would appreciate any information about towing from U.S. to Yucatan. Also would like to know information about cell phone coverage in making and receiving calls from the U.S. My mother is elderly and I want to be able to stay in touch if we decide to make this trip. Is there anyone out there who has stayed at the trailer park at Paamul for a few months in their own trailer??

This forum looks great!

You may want to post this in the general forum.
Many don't read the introductions forum.

Understand that motor homes/travel trailers are packed pretty tightly in Paamul (in the winter)
Paamul is beautiful but a bit claustrophobic (imo)

Cell phone coverage is covered at length in other threads.

question

Hi James,
Great site! I'm a journalist, so not sure how you feel about this. I'm trying to locate people for a story I'm working on...can I post something asking for people to contact me? I would be asking people if they helped search for a particular individual who went missing in Playa Del Carmen. A Canadian who went missing a few years ago.
Look for ward to hearing fro you,
Andrew

Hi AndrewC, James may not see your message here. However, I don't see any problem, with regard to the forum, with you asking if anybody was involved.

I suggest you start a thread in the General section.

Good luck!

We all have kids, so this is kinda our vacation away from kids. Itll be my fiance and I, and two other couples! Any feedback would be nice! I hope Im writing on te right thread for these questions, I didnt read in too much!! Thanks...

Just mooved in.

Aloha , We just moved here from Hawaii and I'm looking for: a gym, yoga, and art contacts. HELP! I am a professional artist and I teach and show all my work all over the world. I think this is great place to sit down and work.

I never take anything too seriously...except tequilla!

Don't take anything too seriously

"Don't take anything too seriously"
I think that quote should be in every post. There are some here who take THEMSELVES too serious.
This is all about having fun and sharing where, what and when that fun is happening. This is Playa, right?
Just sayin'.
Tell 'em Papi sent ya! Yo!
