So excited to be going back!

It's official! The trip is booked, and we're heading back to Mexico at the end of April! In 2008, my husband proposed while visiting Playa Del Carmen. We honeymooned there in 2009. This year, we're mixing it up a little and spending a few days in Tulum, followed by a few days in Playa. I can't wait to get my toes in the sand again.

Are we there, yet?

Send a message via Skype™ to MAKaz
Hi, I just joined and wondering if you have a thread with USA/Mexico banking tips?

There are several. Use the search tab and put in things like exchange rate, Santander, Bank of America and so on.

Need e-mail address

This will be our 5th visit to Playa. We have had an excellent experience with 2 Playa cab drivers, bur unfortunately, we lost their e-mail address. The drivers are Leonel and his brother Jorge. We need to contact them as we are arriving in Playa next week and would like to arrange for them to meet us.
Can someone help?

Probably the wrong place to post your question.
There are 100's of taxi drivers here.
You probably need more than two first names although there are probably a couple of dozen Jorge's.

Good luck.

First Post on a Forum

Well, life is changing and in order to building into the person I will become tomorrow, i have to be open to the new day.

I am planning a move to a country I have never lived, and a city I just recently heard of. It is an exciting time in life, but one filled with uncertainty. I have greatly appreciated all posts on this forum because I have been reading and learning for well over a month.

I am sure I will be the normal newbie at some point and ask some stupid questions, but at this time, I will keep reading and learning the best that I can.

Sadly, I am a bit hard headed. I tend to learn everything the hard way, when a question to a friend would have saved time, money and energy.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone as the days roll along and until the move has been complete.

Well...first of all you probably posted this in the wrong thread.
Regardless - Welcome!
