Lolabella here….

I’m not new to the boards as I’ve been around since Summer of 2002 when I started planning my first trip to Playa. I’ve been back 4 times and I’m the process of planning my next trip this October. I’m also looking forward to going to an ‘Official’ Peep Meet next year.

I currently reside in Southeastern Wisconsin, but if I could find the means to live and work in PDC, I’d sell my condo and move in a heartbeat. I work for a software development company where I wear several hats and I also work part-time at a well-known steakhouse in the area about 2 times/week.

When, I first visited Playa I was such a newbie…very green. I wouldn’t consider wandering off of 5th Avenue to explore, but now after several trips, I feel more comfortable here then I do in my own town.

I love to talk about my experiences in Playa, so feel free to PM.

Places I’ve stayed:

Sept 2002: Grand Porto Real. Went with Mom and Sister

April 2004: Reef Club Playa. Went with 23 family and friends.

January 2005: Posada Freud and Treetops. Went with friend Jessica and Jeannie.

March 2006: Eclipse Hotel. Went with friends Jeannie and Kristin, sister Tara and her boyfriend, Aunt Mary and 3 of her friends from Texas.

My favorite places in Playa.

Beach: Mamitas and in front of ******

Bars: La Ranita Bar, Beer Bucker, Tequila Barrel

Restaurants: Babe’s Noodles, La Cueva Del Chango, Café Del Sol restaurant at the Eclipse Hotel.

Favorite Tour: Playa.info Tours with Mitch.

Favorite things to do in Playa

Sit upstairs at the Beer Bucker watching the world go by;
walk all around Playa exploring different streets and neighborhoods;
Lie face down on a lawn chair at the beach running my feet back and forth in the sand.
Snorkel in the cenotes.

hi lolabella....what hotel do yoy thinks its the best??
we have lived at grand porto real both of the times we where there....
we would like to try another one....any idea????
