Another ex-lurker Newbie coming for a visit

Hate introductions....but seems like the right thing to do.I've been lurking for several months and have really enjoyed the web site. We are a group of around app. 30. This is a Senior trip for our kids who just graduated HS. We are staying @ IQ. After reading about your great city we wish we hadn't booked an AI so we could spend more time enjoying Playa. Well, maybe next time. We booked a trip on Fat Cat, ordered and received our Playa map and am about to order some Nerek atleast we will look like Peeps.
Saying thanks...this is a great've done well.

From the IB* Tucan/Quetzal it's about a $4 cab ride into Playa.....
You'll very much enjoy the IB* Tucan/ is the furthest resort SOUTH in the Playacar development which has several resorts and a nice area to walk and a very nice shopping mall - The Plaza Playacar right there.

You can see pics of this mall (which is across from the Riu Palace and adjacent to the Riu Tequila) in our "View Our Mexico Photo Albums" link - and view the Pics from the Riu Palace

Cuffed is right (isn't he always???) The IB Quetzal is a great resort (stayed there 3 times) and is very close to Playa, so for an inexpensive taxi ride, you'll have the chance to get into town and check it out (the best of both worlds (AI and non-AI), so don't regret your decision to go AI for this trip. I recommend that you see Playa both during the day AND definitely at night, as the whole feel and tempo of the place changes when the sun goes down.

Have fun!!! (oh... and your Nerak beads will be on their way to you shortly!! Hope you get to "use" them at a Peep Meet while you're there!!)
