If it's May 31st in Playa, it must be...

...the annual fishing tournament. Here are a couple of shots I grabbed this morning, the first closer up, from down in front of the Luna Encantada condos, more or less; the second is from above my office. Sorry they're not clearer, but again, we're talking the craptacular camera, here.

Steve

What a wonderful view

I work in a basement with no windows and our office is responsible for informing the whole school district of any possible threatening Texas weather - go figure - just waiting for the parascope to be installed! I am so envious of you!

Big deal, so you've got a nice view. We at the Playa.info office are blessed with the sound of middle school kids playing the recorder and singing songs from Grease.

...is the word, is the word, is the word, that you heard...it's got groove, it's gotmeaning...we take the pressure and we throw away....conventionality belongs to yesterday...there is a chance that we can make it so far we start believing now that we can be who we are.....

I did love Grease, when I was 9 yrs old. My cousin Tiffany and I used to reenact scenes from the movie, singing at the top of our lungs. "Stranded at the drive in...branded, a fool..."

Listening to it sung by grade schoolers over and over again, at my crochety old age of 35, however, is another matter entirely.
