Great article!!! I have eaten at La Bamba Jarocha. I believe that it is located on Avenida 30 and Calle 34. They serve wonderful seafood. Last time we were there, we ordered the huge combination platter which includes shrimp prepared a la diabla (spicy), breaded, and al mojo de ajo (garlic). Besides shrimp, there are fried and grilled fish fillets, a whole fried fish, stuffed crab, and calamari. This plus four beers came to $540 pesos. Friendly service and ice cold beer.

Nice shot of him at La Cueva. We know he's here, but I've not seen him yet.

Food and Wine Mag and Playa

Did anyone see the food and wine this month with Jacques Pepin in Playa dining at La Cueva Del Chango? Pretty cool. Pepin is the man!

yes...we have seen him several times in Playa and twice on the plane from New York as we were all coming down. He has good taste in a vacation home!
