One big indicator to whether you're getting a tip from me...keeping my glass full...wheather it's alcohol or pop....keep an eye on my drink.

My Dad once told a waitress...'You keep my drink full, but otherwise keep your distance...we'll get along just fine"

Canadians, "Canadians", Seniors, Rock Stars, Bible Thumpers, Old Dudes trying to impress young girls, Europeans...ALL generalizations (Including this one) are suspect.

[quote=Sojo-Mojo]I've never heard of the term "Canadian" being used as a code word by restaurant workers for poor tipping minorites.

It has been used in Mexico to describe canadians for years. some of the funniest stories I have heard down there have been about Canadians & their tipping/non tipping habits

That's the beauty... we can recreate the taste but we can't get the sangria to float (and stay) on the top layer like it does at Cactus Club.

Thicker slush? I dunno...what could the trick be? 'Cause the sangria just soaks right into the slush. There has to be a way!!

Next time I'm near one of the Cactus Club locations I'll go in and ask.
