Foreign Music

I don't know if Jimmy put this on my computer or if it was already on there, but there is a bunch of foreign music on this computer and I like it! I think some of it is Italian..some Hispanic, but it's good stuff. I don't understand what they are saying...but I like it.
Do you have any favorite foreign music?

I have lots of "foreign" music as you call it
Eros Ramazzotti (sexy voice, and his music is awesome) Italian
Andrea Bocelli, Italian (another favourite of mine)
Mana (Mexican group, and I probably own all of their CDs by now.
Ricardo Montaner, Venezuela
Marc Anthony, Victor Manuelle, Elvis Crespo (Puerto Rico)
Shakira, Colombia
And a bunch more that will take too much time to list.

((some on the puter too))

I enjoy listening to Brazilian, Middle Eastern, African, and South Asian music. I understand some Portuguese. As for the other genres, I have no clue what is being said, but I like the beat and the instruments being played.

Yes! I very much enjoy ethnic music of varying kinds.

I have been diggin' African music as of late, such as Ayub Ogada. His Kothbiro is a beautiful song! It's on the Constant Gardner soundtrack.
I also have been enjoying Samite, and Ali Farka Toure.

Contributed about 15GB of music as the grande finale to the setup process. Not exactly sure which collections I included but I know there were a fair number of non-US titles.

Well... I can say that Sigur Ros is one of my favorite bands.. (Icelandic) and I really like Shakira too.. nice lyrics in the older songs..
When I was younger i listened to Danish Rap, because i went to denmark with my school... but i don't really recommend it..:p

Marc Antoine.....a French born guitarist. I first heard him on a Jazz radio station here in Houston. Very relaxing music with a latin/jazzy feel. Google him!

One of my favorite African artists is Wasis Diop. I'm guessing based on our similar taste in movies and other things that you'd also enjoy his music.
