California Paradise of Ben Lomond

Hi fellow peeps,
This is our 3rd trip down in as many years. We are really hooked. We come with our son who is turning 16 this year in Playa on June 24th. Should be a wonderful trip. Can't wait...5 days 4 hours.
We live in the Coastal Redwood Mountains of Santa Cruz County. It is wonderful here. We live 10 miles from the ocean in the San Lorenzo River Valley. Beautiful, green, 65 inches of rain this year. Very forward thinking community...still has a hippy feel...college in Santa Cruz keeps it young. Great place to visit if you are ever in California.

Just wanted to say welcome to a fellow Californian! We're in Sonoma Co. just north of you. Santa Cruz is one of the colleges my son looked at, he ended up at Davis, but he has lots of friends down there.

I will add my greetings as well from a San Francisco resident. Our family will be down there from July 9-20.

We use to go to Ben Lomond all the time what a great place to live. My sister use to live there until she passed away.

Her and her husband Fred had a great life there. We also love the area of Playa we have been going there since 1990 we have seen so many changes in all those years. We live in Concord, CA I have not thought of your area for a while. Thanks for the reminding of your area.
