Top Cart Food & Location

OK, I was inspired by PLAYADELSOUL's response in the top three restaurant threads.

What is your favorite cart food, what is the location of the cart and if you know the approximate hours the cart is out, please include that.

Also, what are your favorite local cheap eats other than carts?

Having only enjoyed the tacos off the carts by the bus station on 5th, I would love to expand my experiences.

Empanada cart that parks daily before 12 pm on 8th street between 10th and 15th, next to Plaza Pelicanos mall. I've rhapsodized at length in various other threads about El Fogon, Bloody Chicas, and La Casita de los Guisos, and my feelings are still the same about all 3 places.

I don't know if this qualifies, but I absolutely salivate over the churros the guy sells at night in the square!! I rave about them all the time just wishing that I could just hop over and get them!

I'm with Heather on Bloody Chicas- had a burger there that might be the best I've ever had and the ladies are cute as well.

The hot dog cart on Juarez is popular, and if you really want a hot dog you’ll probably enjoy those.

The empanada stands near Chedraui are a popular choice with us.
You’ll can find one at Calle 3 Sur east of Avenida 45 or on Avenida 45 right across from Chedraui.

I don't know if this qualifies as a cart, but the Señor Tacombi VW bus which is located across the street from El Oasis. They have some barbacoa tacos that I cannot get enough of.

Hey, don´t drool!!!!
You have to visit Mexico City one day, the churros are better here, and you can have them along with a nice cup of chocolate.
On the other side, I´m a fan of Cochinita Pibil by the Bus station, I´m very loyal to them.

You're killing me with those pics! I am sitting here eating a Lean Cuisine which is tasting a little like cardboard after viewing those yummy morsels!

We were waiting for the bus to Cancun at about 6:00am and I was very hungry. I noticed two or three carts across from the bus station and wandered over to one just south of bus station. All the carts were very busy with locals on the way to work. I jumped in the line that smelled the best and bought a torta. I walked over and shared with the wife, one bite and both of us were ready for a couple more. Unbelieveabley great, a soft bun and very juicy , well seasoned meat. Right then we were called for our bus and had to leave without even a second one. Just one more reason we will be back. The food we had in Mexico was nothing short of awesome!
