Cooking meat tomorrow in a guest chef gig for my nephew's family. He is graduating from Naturopathic Medical School and his grandparents from his mothers side and two aunts will be in town. His mom went to a seafood shop today and bought a 4 pound wild salmon filet - gonna do it with apple wood smoke, a maple syrup-limeade marinade, garlic and cayenne pepper with a little maple syrup drizzled on at the end.

Gotta keep writing about good food so I keep getting invited to move to Minnesota

OMG, that sounds so good........................I make my own maple syrup every winter.

Well I would love too... only problem is that 3-way or more on Skype doesn't work well PC to Mac... works fine if all the computers on the conference call are PCs. Since I've got 3 Macs at home and no PCs... I'm basically SOL for conference calling with Skype... at least until they release an upgrade for the Mac with all the same capabilities that the Skype PC version has available. Tell her I said "Hola Chica!" I've been avoiding calling her because she's usually crazy busy in June with the school year finishing up.
