Bridezillas

Have any of you ever watched this on the WE channel? I'll admit for some reason I love these kinds of shows (reality I guess it would be called)
This show just kills me. There are these brides planning elaborate weddings and in my mind go totally psycho! I realize that it's a big, important day, but these brides make it all about this one day. They want everything perfect to the point of practically alienating their husbands-to-be (not all of them do). It just makes me sit and laugh and am in total disbelief at how they act. Throwing fits, yelling at people and just kind of being a b*tch. I'm always curious of what they think of themselves when they watch the show.

Granted, I have never been through my own wedding, but if I ever get the chance it is going to be simple, very simple. Just going to have the judge or whoever say, "Do you?"..."Do you?" Yep, okay you're married, let's go party

Before a good friend of mine got married recently I told her not to get all caught up in this one day, because it is an important day, but it's just one day of the rest of your lives.

So any of you see this show or were you a Bridezilla? Or know someone that was?

I was not one. I'm praying mightily that Ashley will not turn into one. I'll keep you posted!

I have seen the show. Wow. It also amazes me how the women can be so absolutely rude and downright cruel to others. Even the men they are marrying. Sometimes you have to wonder how a marriage will last when it is started that way.

Similar to the Sweet Sixteen show on MTV. Should be called Spoiled *itches.

Okay, so I don't watch much TV anymore, but 'splain to me how they can be bridezillas and not be playacting if they know they're on a show called "bridezillas?!?!?" This is supposed to be reality TV, right? I'm confused.

They don't care that they are on the show Bridezillas. I honestly believe that at the time, these women do not feel they are being mean, rude, disheartening to others.

The show follows them on the last few days before the wedding. Most all of them have wedding planners. These women are just rude. Basically you are just watching them and what they are doing the last couple of days. You don't even see much of the wedding day. So one show will have a couple of people you are following.

The one African American couple that was on the other day were so complicated that they couldn't even show the whole wedding in one show because she was so downright mean.

One show is supposed to depict the entire process for the couples you are watching. It really is a dumb show. But then it makes you feel better knowing you are not like that.

I was watching Anderson Cooper on something the other day and he said Sweet Sixteen was one of his guilty pleasures. Somehow that wasn't how I pictured him spending his evenings.

That shocks me. I would think he would dismiss the show as something completly irrelevant to the world.

And he loves American Idol. Apparently he just goes from major news source dude to trash TV junkie as soon as he pulls off his starched shirts....

Apparently there is a lot on TV of which I am totally unaware, but I do recommend checking out the History Channel whenever you're surfing around. Occasionally there is some really cool stuff on there.
