Yahoo Answers

In doing an internet search and becoming totally frustrated by the lack of success, I decided to click on a link to "Yahoo Answers", where, supposedly, you can get answers to any question you can think up. Catch is, these answers can be supplied by anyone who chooses to post. By accident, I found myself looking at questions about Cancun, Playa, and the area. The misinformation in there is just absolutely appalling! I started to answer some of them, read a little further, and decided it was useless.

Why do people persist in passing along "information" when they know absolutely nothing about a topic? ARGHHH!!

Thank goodness Playa.Info is here with the real answers.

(Do I need to say I didn't find an answer to my real question, either?)

What was your question Were you trying to figure out how to get out of the water without anyone seeing your chi-chi's?

I see that all the time here also. People who have lived here for one year will tell travelers all about the area, weather etc.. and I sometimes have to bite my tongue hard . Poor tourist get some really bum info

Perhaps she asked "What will the weather be like in Playa on June 20th"
Yahoo returned, "There is a 20% of isolated snow fluries followed by periods of Earth Scorching Heat & Sunshine"

I got into the water, didn't I?

No, I'm actually looking for a super large key ring, or any other shape of large opening/latching thingie that I can hang/store bracelets on so that they can be easily removed and won't get separated. (TMI?)

Oh, you need one of those spinning wheel thingies? Or something more portable?

In 5 days Rick will be down to help you out of the water

Not sure what you mean by a spinning wheel thingie, but I'm just thinking a simple latching O-ring about 4-5" diameter. So that's pretty portable. Finding space for things around here can be a challenge and everything's always needing to be moved to get to something else, so the easier I can make that, the better.

(Rick's probably got this one figured out for me already, too... And I have no doubt he'll solve that water problem also. )

I think handcuffs would work fine. Just have to remove the pink fluffy covering first.

seems like the lightweight D-ring clips they sell at Home Depot for keychains will suffice... lots of chick type colors to choose from...but pay attention to the warning that says "Not For Climbing Use"
