Peep meet anyone??? Sometime during August 14-17th

hey wanted to make sure there were others who would be around. Haven't seen too many posts of people coming at that time.

Prolly because it's two months away? Peep Meet threads tend to get more action and sign ups when they're started within a few weeks of the event.

Disagree sorry, I planned a very successful peep meet 2 months or so prior to the April one. And I have seen quite a few planned by others such as Angel in Houston for this month being planned back in April.

I would define "a very successful peep meet" as one where two or more peeps get together for good conversation, a few laughs, and maybe a soda/beer/cocktail. Doesn't have to include a large number of people or a large amount of alcohol. Quality is more important than quantity on both, IMHO (and which also applies so well to many other things in life).

Don't worry, Maryann. As the time gets closer, more peeps will see this thread and give you the heads up of their impending arrival in Playa.

Planning well in advance is not a problem by any means! Hell, we started planning Peep Fest 2006 (February 2006) in April of 2005!!! I just meant that you'll see more peeps getting "into it" as their trip gets closer and they get more of an idea on what they want to do with their time in Playa.

I still say that it's best to pick a definite date/place rather than be general with a range of days. Seen many threads turn into a jumble of "what's good for you"... "that day isn't good for us, how about the next day".... "no, we're leaving that morning, how about this day"... and so on and so on. So I say, if you want to set it up, then pick a date/place that's good for your schedule and whoever can make it will be there.
