I would think that you are part of the inner fabric of the site by now.
And you donīt have a quirky thingie because you havenīt wanted it enough. You a computer geek should now better than that.

Just a tidbit of facts, the name of that accent is "tilde" but nobody in México knows it, everybody calls it the little worm.

I called it a 'tilde' and was corrected (in my Spanish class) to call it an 'enye'.

Weellll, I DID want it, and hinted once or twice... But I just can't bring myself to ask for it...somehow that would cheapen the whole effect. I feel it's somethng that just has to be awarded to you, that you earn...like a surprise. Kinda like in the cracker jack box, ya' know?

Bad teacher, the "eņe" (enye) is the whole thing, not the sluglike accent.
If you want, I can have a talk with your teacher after class.

Thanks Jesus, yes, she was a bad Jr High teacher in more ways than one can imagine. She was having an affair with the other Spanish teacher (who was my English & Homeroom teacher)...and would say some nasty things to him in Spanish...like we didn't get it...
Gne..gne...gne... What an education!
Well, at least we learned some useful words

Homeroom is a room (and a time), usually the first period of the day in most middle (Jr High), secondary, and some elementary schools. In this room, teachers took attendance, made announcements, students filled out mounds of paperwork, and the pledge of allegiance was recited. We didn't have it every day, it was on the semester schedule when to go there instead of our first period class.
