Mariela, will help you with what ever you need. We have our wedding planned for October 06 and Mariela has been great with any questions we have had. She has been honest and to the point in our questions. If your asking questions about what to do besides the wedding like, an after wedding drinks party (before the dinner) or if you should rent out the disco for a reception. From what I heard and read regarding these issues I would say that it depends on how many Family and friends you have coming. There are guest restrictions for some of these things. Good luck and Congrats on the wedding.

Also looking into wedding at Tucan

I am also looking into planning a wedding at the Iberostar Playacar. I was wondering what the difference is between the two? From what I have read both resorts are in the same area. I am wondering if anyone can give advice about pricing and what is average to stay there? One last question I am of course worried about the wedding ceremony. Has anyone had their wedding their or know of some one I would love to see some pics of what a beach ceremony looked like.

Go to this site:
http://www.iberostar-board.com/boards/index.php
Scroll down a bit. There is a section devoted to weddings at Iberostar resorts.
