im new to this whole forum thing but i figured since im living in playa for the next 5 weeks alone i should meet some people that live here as well. im living in playacar fase 1 and working for the Abyss diveshhop as a dive master apprentice. i took the day off today to go watch the worldcup game somewhere so if anyone else is going out this afternoon im open to meet new people. oh ya and i have a question for the true locals, where can i get a decsent hair cut in playa?

1st .....Hi and welcome to the forum

2nd....there are lots of locals that'll be able to help w/the haircut???? AMOF....search it, I know Cheri(from Luna Blue)had a thread awhile back about getting her 1st haircut in Playa. HTH!

thank your for the help i was just worried i would be given the classic mexican hair cut of a 3 on the sides and a 4 on top, but im now thinking of buzzing it all so i guess the question is irrelevent anyway. well i hope whenever you come back to playa, maybe while im here, you will consider scuba diving with the Abyss diveshop. i promise that they are the safest and most proffessional diveshop in playa.

Hola and welcome. Some of us just cut each others hair. Scary but true. Lots of people go to Javier on calle 6 between 10 and 15. He's been here awhile and knows everyone. Should be able to give you a proper haircut and give you some good local dish as well.

thanks for all the help and i hope to meet you guys sometime while im here. and hey if anyone wants to go diving come by the Abyss Dive Shop, its located almost next door to Da Gabi as a temp location untill we can get on the beach again.
