Back to Texas, but for how long?????

Just got back from the 307 tour. My girlfriend wanted to stay in Cancun so it was rent a car time for me. Actually she liked it to. Spent some time yacking with Julia in PaaMul, cool place. She is actually a neighbor here in Clear Lake (Houston) TX. Tulum always gets my celestial and spirutual carma in alignment. Pretty cool diving in the Cenotes!!! The all inclusive thing is all right i guess but I'm used to going with my buddies and chowing on the bean soup and Pok Chuc at La Lomita on Isla.
Does anyone know of a good anchoring spot along the coast? I have a 35' with a 5' draft

Cheatham Street is still here, Peppers sold out to Joe's Crab Shack a few years ago (until I win the lotto and buy it out for a Hooters, where I can be the Chief Personnel Officer), Grins and Herberts are still around too. I went to school at UT Arlington and just pilgramaged to San Marcos and Gruene during toobin season.....different name now, but still has the "hey dude, lets party" reputation fer sure.

I grew up in Clear Lake. Middlebrook subdivision, actually. Clear Lake High. I was class of '85, but ended up graduating in '84. MAN that area has changed since I was a kid. Especially the Kemah area!

Naw... None of the names ring a bell... I don't remember much of those days.
