GNC Health Food Store now open in Playa

For those of you who are desperate for a health food store here in Playa, GNC just opened in one of the storefronts at Mega. They seem to have a surprisingly good selection of basic items and the lady there told me that if you need something
they don't have, just bring the bottle in and show it to her and she can get it.( keep your fingers crossed)
There is also another new health food store across form San Francisco also on 30th that carries Mexican brands of health foods.

GNC doesn't really stock 'food' though, mainly nutritional supplements.

Sam's has protein powder.
Walmart has vitamins

GNC is also extremely overpriced. You can get much better quality supplements and proteins from online retailers.

...but one would be hard pressed to have online retailers ship to Playa

or walmart (walmart does sell vitamins and supplements, right?)

Vitamin Shoppe has it much cheaper
Rumor has it one is opening in the new mall
I started this rumor.
And a tub of that will go a long way
....so i'm told.
