Greetings all,

I read and re-read every thread under the Changarros y Mas and have learned a lot! HOWEVER, many of those posts are old and I was looking for some updated, current information. Maybe some of you foodies could help me out.

I'll be staying at the Riviera Caribe Maya (10th Ave. & calle 30), at the north end of town. Are there any good places for Comida Corrida near there? I have no problem hoping in a cab for good food... but walking a great distance will be an issue as I have a herniated disk in my back (lovely!).

Also, as I'm an avid Mapchick mapper... I see many new restaurants in the northern end of town, I'm curious if anyone has any comments on these:

Sushi Tlan
Ole Taurino
Uglia Maktub Cafe
Sushi Ken
El Artista
La Hora Feliz
Puro Bueno

I haven't heard much about these, and since we'll be in Mexico, I know the Mayan food will be top-notch, but I never know about other ethnic foods. I'm most curious about the sushi, is it good? Also, I tend learn towards a vegetarian menu (and travelling with a hardcore veggie)... any good places with options other than pasta?

I appreciate any thoughts!
