PDC: Honeymoon!! Where to stay: AI?
We are going on our honeymoon the first 2 weeks in September '03, and are having a hard time finding an AI hotel that has a great beach and lots of water sports. We are considering Royal Hideaway, but wanted to know any pros/cons to other hotels or the RH. SInce it is our honeymoon, we want it to be perfect.
Thanks!! |

Don't go AI, that's my advice. Seriously, you'll experience much more of what Playa has to offer in a small hotel on the beach in town. There are tons of recommendations on this website that you can find by searching. I always recommend Hotel Playa Maya (www.playa-maya.com). They will take fabulous care of you on your honeymoon... and they have room with your own private jacuzzi tub on the patio... VERY romantic. My hubby and I just spent our anniversary there at the beginning of January.
But, there are many, many great small hotels on the beach, right in the heart of Playa. The restaurants in Playa are so fabulous, you won't want to feel like you need to eat at your hotel. You really will have more fun (IMHO) if you stay in Playa and not at an AI. Becky |
