Any good paella in playa?

I've been to playa 100 times and never thought to search out paella. Anyone know if there is a restaurant that serves good paella in playa?

I don't know if it's good cause I've never eaten it, but there is a paella restaurant on the north side of Constituyentes just west of 10th avenue.

I've not yet had their paella, but the tapas is wonderful. Might be worth a try.
Also there is a restaurant on the corner of 1 sur and 15th Ave. that advertises paella occassionally, El Marquesh sp?, something like that. If I drive by today, I'll check the sign.

This is not in Playa but just south of Puerto Aventuras. Al Cielo has wonderful paella and a great location on the beach. The best paella I have ever had.

Thanks guys, that gives me a few options to check out. How would I get to the one on the beach south of puerto aventuras?

Hi Doris, This restaurant is on Xpa-Ha beach, close to Cafe del Mar. Our friends live right next door- I'll have them check the menu for paella.

Doesn't El Oasis serve paella? I think I've had it there, if I recall it was pretty good...

You can get to Al Cielo by taking the highway south past Puerto Aventuras. Go past Barcello and just before Copa Cabanna there is a large white sign for Al Cielo. Sometimes it is safer to go past and turn into Copa Cabanna to make a u-turn and come back to it. There is just a small dirt road leading back to Al Cielo. They don't open until 7 PM I think and they will take reservations. I don't have there phone number but if you Google Al Cielo you will find the website for the Hotel and Restaurant.

Where is El Oasis now? When I was there in Dec. it was under
construction I think for a dance club. I know I read it somewhere but when I did the search I can't find it.
