Rita, I can get you a booby doll, and you can stay on our side. Do not be tempted by the dark.

I vote for the man or woman that I think is the worst of 2 evils....The Dems had nobody worth voting for in the last 12 years. I know I will vote for anybody running against Rick Perry....how dare he raise my cigarette taxes!!!!
When ever I hear politicians talk about more money for schools I just want to pull my hair out. JUst once I would like to hear a politician have the balls to say where the education problems lie. It's the parents! Instead of raising taxes, how about passing a law that says no kids under 16 are allowed out at night past 9pm. on school nights. How can you educate a kid that was at Walmart at 11pm the night before? Or have parents that don't see to it that their homework is done? And God forbid if you try to discipline the child at school, or embarrass them in front of their peers.

I have voted democratic in some races....I'm an independent.
I just don't think the Dems will have anybody worthy to run for president......I want Guillano...how ever you spell it. Anybody who can clean up New york City is a good man in my book.

This compassionate conservative says send them back to the country of thier origin---with a million $$ bounty on their heads;-- cheaper, quicker, & much more effective than Guantanimo.

Or we can let Rawanda burn because like Bill Clinton said, it was one of the biggest mistakes in his life but I just didn't think it would have showed well in focus groups or in the polls. What a wimp! Thats the good America you remember, right?
Point is, I think it is great to have people like Stew around to criticize whoever is in office as long as they are able to see past their own myopia. Stewart is going to hate anything George does, plain and simple, but be honest, OTHERS have done the some thing in the past. Doesn't make some of his/their actions right, its just not a one way street. Little nice peanut growing Jimmy Carter spied on american citizens, FDR locked Asian Americans up in what amounts to jail, JFK almost started WWIII! So, keep the political banter coming, just don't act self/political riteous, for you too, have skeletons.

I second that, although I don't know if Hillary could be President of the US if Bill is President of the world.

The maestro Bill Clinton would be the first one in UN history to hold a multicultural, multiracial, non-denominational record breaking daisy chain in coffee anuses office. Well maybe not.

Interesting article in the Washington Post today:
Quote:
An obscure law approved by a Republican-controlled Congress a decade ago has made the Bush administration nervous that officials and troops involved in handling detainee matters might be accused of committing war crimes, and prosecuted at some point in U.S. courts.

Senior officials have responded by drafting legislation that would grant U.S. personnel involved in the terrorism fight new protections against prosecution for past violations of the War Crimes Act of 1996. That law criminalizes violations of the Geneva Conventions governing conduct in war and threatens the death penalty if U.S.-held detainees die in custody from abusive treatment.
