Sorry if I missed this covered in a thread elsewhere but I'm a bit out of touch these days at the beach house (I'll be back on Saturday) and spent the afternoon picking wild blueberries only to come home to find Floyd confirmed as the Tour de France winner for this year.

Woohoo! Be proud guys! This is truly great stuff.

talk about amazing, I'm eating wild blueberries with Swedish vanilla ice cream right now. Holy shite, this is the best anti-oxidant trip on the planet.

More than just a win James. He was written off after a bad bonk left him over 8 minutes behind Periero after stage 16.

Stage 17 was one of the greatest rides of all time in the tour and it all belonged to Landis.

I noticed several Phonak jerseys out this morning and one young rider wearing a Vision Quest jersey which is the local training facility run by Robbie Ventura who is Landis' coach.

This years tour was definitely one to remember.

Very impressive, in fact might be argued that this event might be the single most grueling sporting event in the world.

Also, Tiger Woods (like him or not) wins the British Open easily...a good day for Amercian athletes.
