What is light rain or showers in PDC

I was on the Weather Channel Web site and they forecast showers or light rain from February 1st to the 8.

I'll be there next week and want to know what to expect.

When they say light rain or showers, does that mean rain all day or rain for an hour in the morning ...

Would need your comments
