Why Can't I Upload Photos to My Member Gallery?

I'm sorry, I may be missing something very obvious so I apoligize in advance- but if someone could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

I click on the upload photos tab, I browse and find the jpg photo, I click upload on the bottom of the page- yet it never uploads and the screen just clears- could someone tell me what I am doing wrong and how I can upload my photo?

cuz it's been down for about 9 months

Until "Tomorrow" actually rolls around, many users are using alternatives such as Photobucket, Snapfish, etc. to post their pics.

The member gallery was effected by the hacker attack that took place in September. Unfortunately, the repair of the mutli-media gallery has taken a back seat to other more pressing matters... such as Hurricane Wilma, a forum upgrade and a myriad of other activities. It is on the list of action items. In the interim, it's recommended that you use another image hosting resource such as Photobucket.com (a free image server) that allows hotlinking. I've sent you a PM with instructions on how-to post images on Playa.Info that includes info on how-to use Photobucket to post images.

Of course, I just sent you a PM with the instructions. As for closing that other thread, just doing my mod job... I really hate having to lock down threads... though sometimes ya just gotta do, what ya gotta do.

You've created your profile picture, which is different than your avatar.
Profile pic shows up in the right hand corner of your profile link....
The avatar shows up under your name on the forum when you post.
