Greetings all,,from sunny Ontario, Canada.My Hubby and I just booked our trip, to PlayaCar,,arriving Sept. 25th,,06,,We are very excited,,ready to burst infact,,our trips usually consist of camping,,cooking,,kids,,visiting family that have cottages etc.Finally our very first big kid trip,,just the 2 of us,,as well,,sun, fun,,and how shallow of me,,all inclusive,,lots of liquor,,asi, asi.Wondering where the beach cam is located. Just noticed a guy hamming it up,,and would like to do the same,,when we get there,,a wish u were here,,glad ur not,,haha, kinda thing.Not normally a boastful person,,but it,s been a really rough couple of years,,and I just feel the need,,lol,,Our turn, so to speak.Any how,,great site,,,I,m Karen,,Hubby is Dan,Perrin,,dont say my name in the same sentence,,so very corny,,lol,,We,ll be staying at the Sandos,,,and we,re the 2 awesomely happy,,fun loving canucks,,that really ,,really,,did I say really enuf,,deserve this great trip,,and are gonna love every second of it,,Cya soon,,Eh?Adios Amigos,,,Karen

Greetings again all..Thnx for the replies,,even urs Coccinelle,,,lol,,really u shouldnt have,,,The name thing,I,m referring too...lol,,,I,m still on my cloud,,,just alittle more than a month too go,,yippee..Only reservations being leaving our dogs,,it,s never been done,,they always come with us,,also,,the effects of Tequila on my husband,,I hear him say he will exercise caution,,go slow,,,but I know him,,when he,s having fun,,he knows no limit,,and he works so darn hard,,Fun, fun, fun will be his only motto:So very hot and humid here,,today 110,,yest 125,,just killer,so have spent 2 days looking at the beach cam,,and aqua waters,,god I cant wait to dive in.Any advice on food or beverages we should avoid when we come? Have heard so many horror stories of people just sick their whole trip,,something they ate..Any how,,,all for now,,sincerely,,in anticipation,,,Karen

from another Canuck, Point Edward, ON. You can't get much closer than that! You will have a wonderful time! I think the most common reasons people get sick is the sudden change in climate (not going to happen for you guys), lots of booze (not always), different foods and lack of sleep. Let's face it. You aren't going to sleep the night before you leave and once you hit Playa you're going to go until you drop. Just take some immodium in case you get Montezuma's revenge (or whatever else works for you), drink lots of bottled water (I take some with me for the plane). I've never gotten sick in Mexico, but did in Spain and the Dominican.

Hi all,,Hola Muchachos,,perfect summer days here in Hamilton,,Ont.n No humidity,,what a relief..Just a month n a wee bit to go until we arrive in Playa,,Thnks for the immodium advice. Too funny about the D.J. Might be an angle I can use when I get there,,lol,,,is she a red head by any chance? I have been doing some clothes shopping,,All summer stuff is on sale now,,but my husb. is saying I should,nt. That I should wait n shop there..Says it should still be cheaper,,,hmmm,,a lighter suitcase makes more sense,,but I,m a bargain hunter,,and thngs r pretty cheap here,,,Also we were told that cabs are a really good way to do off the beaten track tours,,,that u can just wander thru the ruins un escorted,,and avoid fees,,etc. Any validity to this,,I have also been told that the area is relatively safe,,does that also hold,,for late in the eve..when we are 2 lost drunk gringos,,,lol,,Any how,,,nice to hear from u all,,and say hi to Karen Parron from me,,Adios amigos,,Karen
