Some awesome shots of Mexico City
Some awesome aerial shots of Mexico City.
From the web site:"This are a few of the pictures that I have taken while working as a Helicopter Pilot over Mexico City. The best and most recent Mexico City Stock Aerial Photography, I hope you find them interesting." http://homepage.mac.com/helipilot/PhotoAlbum31.html. |

Fantastic shots! You have an excellent eye.
It's good to see a fair representation of the city for a change instead of just the bad bits. 'Built in honor of the Revolucion Mexicana of 1910' - I was told it was originally the corner wing of a palace that was never completed, then later converted into a memorial... |

Monumento a la Revolución Mexicana is the name of the building. It was originaly planned to be a copy of the Capitol in Washington DC but was unfinished when the revolution struck. Later they just made it a little bit nicer and converted into a mausoleum (there are several revolutionary heroes buried in the monument). |

Nice area but it would be a little difficult to not get lost. |

Jesus is correct.
The pictures are not mine. I was just passing along the link after seeing it posted at the San Carlos Sonora forum. I thought the folks here would appreciate the photos as much as the folks there did. Looking back at my original post I realise I should have been more clear. Sorry Dutchie |
