Some awesome shots of Mexico City

Some awesome aerial shots of Mexico City.

From the web site:"This are a few of the pictures that I have taken while working as a Helicopter Pilot over Mexico City. The best and most recent Mexico City Stock Aerial Photography, I hope you find them interesting."

According to the web site they are low income residencial developments. From the site: "Huge growth of housing projects like these for low income families, Ixtapaluca." and "300+ low income homes in Ixtapaluca, complex has more than 10,000!"

Thanks for sharing these. Excellent work! They are all great, but especially liked the ones of Angle square (used to stay near there) Emissions, Aragon, Water supply , Xico, and Los Volcanes.

Fantastic shots! You have an excellent eye.

It's good to see a fair representation of the city for a change instead of just the bad bits.

'Built in honor of the Revolucion Mexicana of 1910' - I was told it was originally the corner wing of a palace that was never completed, then later converted into a memorial...

I always get a window seat when flying into DF. It seems like every time I arrive or leave, it is a different route, with a lot to see.

I want to know what happened to the French tourist.

Pst, pst, those are not Dutchie's pics. He just pointed to the site, which has been up for like 3 or 4 years, without changes or additions I must say.
Monumento a la Revolución Mexicana is the name of the building. It was originaly planned to be a copy of the Capitol in Washington DC but was unfinished when the revolution struck. Later they just made it a little bit nicer and converted into a mausoleum (there are several revolutionary heroes buried in the monument).

Fabulous Fotos! A great way to see an awesome city. It would be hard to find one's way home to the Ixtapaluca housing project after a few cocktails.

A truly nightmare, this other picture is south of Cuernavaca city, is called Xochitepec.
Nice area but it would be a little difficult to not get lost.

Jesus is correct.

The pictures are not mine. I was just passing along the link after seeing it posted at the San Carlos Sonora forum. I thought the folks here would appreciate the photos as much as the folks there did.

Looking back at my original post I realise I should have been more clear. Sorry
