I have never seen one myself. However my mother and my friend claimed to have seen the same thing go over their houses (several blocks apart) at approximately the same time. They both told me about it (independently) the next day. This was about 12 years ago.
Though I have never actually had any proof, their stories were just too similiar and they could not have conferred on it as they hadn't spoken in several years.
