I'd offer you something for the housing, but the buttons on SD400 and the SD450 are in different positions. |

But I'm missing the point of your post (unless it was merely to tell the long-time posters that we're all jerks and are mean to the newbies - both statementsof which are entirely untrue). Are you trying to thank someone for information, request thanks for information you provided, or are you attempting to ask a question that may have been asked already?? Help us help you, Fred.

[quote=Andiline]Thor, thanks, it is one of my favourites too.
![]() Beachnutt, I can only stress again and again that most divers have Canon's (and I've heard from my guides inMexico and Thailand that they are the best). In Thailand we usually had to look twice before getting a digi cam out of the water container where we put them after dives as they all looked alike. I can highly recommend them (if someone wants to buy something else though: I will not hold you back it's your decision ). I imagine that if the colors are that vivid underwater that the shouts out of the water are just as good? I know stupid question, but I am always disappointed when I get home and don't see the blue colors( mainly the water) I saw on vacation. Of course it could be that I don'tnow how to use it properly. I have a Canon SD1S. |

I like my Canon A95 both above and underwater. I have the SLR EOS 350D too so now I use that a lot instead of the A95. But the underwater housing for SLR digicams costs more than a trip to Playa (so to speak) so I am not buying the housing for it.

Being "flamed" for asking a worn-out question is the newbie's failure to read the welcome message and the "sticky" post at the top of the forum. Is like not reading the fine print in a contract, or signing-up in a Microsoft website or using their products without reading the conditions first. The information is there for your protection and for you to avoid incurring in actions that are hard on you if you proceed. |
