The moment I saw the first pic the water works started. I'm proud to know you Karen and all the peeps who've helped the PDC community in so many ways. Thanks for sharing that moment with us.

Great job, Karen! Did you and David sleep on the floor for the week?

No.... but we were so pooped every night that we probably could have!!

One of the benefits of giving up the king-sized bed option and getting two doubles is that you always have an extra bed to toss all your crap on.

But.... with the Angel Notion items, we kept them in bags stacked in the corner of the room until Friday morning when we emptied everything out all over the bed. It was so much fun taking those pictures!!

Brad and I can vouch for the smiles on David & Karen's faces after they dropped the items off at Angel Notion. (We spent the afternoon with them at Mamita's.)
(Then again the smile could have been from the really strong drinks they brought with them in they're mugs)

Good job, Karen, David, and everyone! Everyone on the forum is so generous! There are many places along with Angel Notion that are in need of donations...communities in the jungle, churches, clinics, etc. Anything that you want to donate is appreciated here. I should be taking pics of everything people bring down too...but I can't keep up! I have piles right now waiting for me to get back and decide on the right place to take them. Thanks everyone, especially you, Karen, for helping the people in town!

Agreed, Sarah!! Anything and everything that peeps bring can be put to good use!! (I simply use the Angel Notion "avenue" because of my bead connection.)

I've seen your threads on the wonderful volunteer work that you and others do there, Sarah! Just wish you'd been in Playa last week when we were there!!

You couldn't possibly be implying that the pina colada that I brought from the GCB which was so strong that I had to get a virgin pina colada at Mamitas to "water it down" had anything to do with that silly grin on my face, are you??? David's strawberry daiquiri was so strong that I think he still had some left in his mug 3 hours later!

I am not implying any such thing. You know how much you are loved here on the forum. Do you think I would ever do anything to tarnish that image?

The tarnish can get you into all kinds of trouble if you are not careful. I believe that would be another thread don't you?
