PDC Restaurant - Calle 5 ?

I haven't had the opportunity to get back to Playa for the last 12 months (heavy sigh!) I am preparing to return in October and curious if any new good restaurants or "not to miss" spots have popped up. Additionally is Esparagos still there? If anyone can enlighten me, I would be grateful!
:p

Forgot...one more thing...

Also, I forgot to ask - for a special and romantic anniversary dinner - does anyone have any recommendations regardless of price?

Hola
Esparragos has changed owner/ name and now it is Adela from the same owners of Palapa Hemmingway, for the restaurants not to miss in 5th avenue there are so many, but the best ones are recommended in the restaurant list with the playa Deal Card.
For a romantic dinner, I like 2, Yaxche on 8th street between 5th and 10th and Casa Mediterranea in 5th inside Jardin de Marieta and in front of Hotel Lunata. This 2 are not loud and they have very good food and service
my 2 peso
hope you like them.

We ate there last February. Now called La Adelita (I believe). They had some great shrimp dishes for around $13-15 USD. As we contemplated going in to eat, we asked for and received free Pina Coladas with our meals. I would highly recommend eating there. Nice atmosphere also.
