Purchase tours while in PDC?

Hello all,
We arrive in PDC on the 17th and are very interested in going on the "Tulum and Beyond" tour. I know this tour is on Tuesdays and Saturdays however, we're not sure what our schedule is going to be yet and are wondering if we can get this tour once we are already in PDC. Where do we go or is the only way to get these online?

Also, any suggestions on tours? We are both excited to see the ancient ruins and the cenotes and do some snorkeling. This one seems to cover both. We are staying at Secrets Capri so I am assuming we'd have to get transportation down into PDC to meet up with the tour - correct?

I think we also want to go down to Akumal for some snorkeling. I hear that is a good spot. Any suggestions on that?

Thanx everyone and can't wait to get there!!!

Send Heather a PM, and you will be all set. Mitch is a great (friend and) tour guide. Enjoy!

The "Tulum and Beyond" tour is so much fun! You will have the opportunity to snorkel at two very nice cenotes. Mitch who is the wonderful Playa Info guide hires an experience english speaking tour guide at Tulum to explain the history of the site.
Regarding Akumal for snorkeling two places that I am familiar with are Yal- ku (sic) lagoon. You'll have to pay to get in but I thought it was worth it. There are so many beautiful fish. But for free, you can snorkel near the Lol-Ha restaurant. If you use the search engine on this site you can find other spots around Akumal. Have a wonderful trip!

I'd recommend you pick a day that you want to do this tour and book it through this web site before you leave and then plan the rest of your week around it. Don't wait til you get to Playa. It's a popular tour, and you'll be bumming if there's no room left for the day you want to go.

David and I did the "Tulum and Beyond" tour in February 2005, and it was a truly wonderful day!!!

Book them! Heather told me they are 100% refundable as long as you cancel 36 hrs prior to tour pick-up.
Have a good time and let us know how you liked the tour. We will be going on it for our trip in January.

Although you're more than welcome to send us PMs about tours or anything else, we actually prefer that you book a tour through our tour page and use the form we have there. That way, you get it booked right away, we get all the information we need and we save a bunch of back-and-forth communication. Thanks!
