Here are Denise's instructions that she sent me. Good luck.
Here's info on how-to post images on Playa.Info. Please note that although the multimedia gallery is referenced in the supplied info, it is currently not operating properly. So in the interim you will need to use another image hosting resource such as Photobucket.com for which there is also info provided below. First, an image must reside somewhere online (not on your home computer)... such as your Member Gallery in the Multimedia section of Playa.Info. Or on a free image server that allows 3rd party linking (such as photobucket.com... which is what I use for photos that are not Playa related.) To post an image in a thread using an image stored in your Playa.Info MultiMedia Member Gallery:
In the event that you choose to use Photobucket.com rather than the Multimedia section of Playa.Info, I've included instructions below for both posting an image and an album stored on photobucket.com. To post an image in a thread using an image stored on Photobucket:

July 30 - August 06, 2006 Trip
Here is a link to the trip pictures July 30-Aug 06, 2006. We stayed in Las Palmas Condos in the North End on <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">26th Street</st1:address></st1:Street> between 5th ave and 10th ave. and near <ST1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Mamitas</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Beach</st1:PlaceType></ST1:place>!! <st1:City w:st="on"><ST1:place w:st="on">Las Palmas</ST1:place></st1:City> gaves us beach passes good for Mamitas beach club upon our arrival. Saves you $2US per louge chair and $2US for the Umbrella. <O:p></O:p>
http://s101.photobucket.com/albums/m53/mikeinfwtx/<O:p></O:p> http://s101.photobucket.com/albums/m...slideshow=true<O:p></O:p> We arrived Sunday, unpacked the rental car and headed to Walmart! Woo Hoo. Always fun to check out Walmart. The breads and pastries are really fresh and tasty. We purchase some water, fruit, cheese, eggs, and ham also for breakfast. <O:p></O:p> I signed my daughter Courtney up at Spanish school in Playa at "International House" on <st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">14th street</st1:address></st1:Street> just off of 5th ave. So after we returned from Walmart we went walking down 5th ave, to try and find this place. Turns out that there are actually two 14th streets as you walk down 5th ave. So this was a little confusing but we managed to find it after al little searching. I was noticing that the North end of <st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">5th avenue</st1:address></st1:Street> is a little quieter at night than the South end. <O:p></O:p> After the first day of walking her to school (Monday) and picking her up at 1:30, she was quite confident to walk <st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">5th avenue</st1:address></st1:Street> to school on her own! Plus they had social events that the students did in the afternoons which I though was cool. These students were from all over the world also. At night we checked out the free salsa lessons! What a blast! I love Salsa dancing. On Tuesday we went to La Bodeguita restaurant at the end of <st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">5th avenue</st1:address></st1:Street> (starts at 7:00PM). Wednesday we went to Basico 5th and <st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">10th street</st1:address></st1:Street> above the Haagen Dazs Ice cream shop. This is a blast to go to!! <O:p></O:p> (Salsa Dance Lessons at La Bodeguita Restaurant (South End of 5th ave in the shopping plaza) on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:00PM. Also free Salsa Dance Lessons at Basico Restaurant (2nd floor above Haagen Dazs ice cream shop 5th ave) on Wednesday and Friday at 8:00PM.) <O:p></O:p> Thursday after a day a Mamitas Beach Club we checked out the show at Xcaret, the ballgame was really interesting and the traditional Mexican dancers were great! Check out the link: http://www.xcaret.com/performances.php Friday we went to Casa Del Agua Restaurant. The view from the second floor restaurant is great! You can see the ocean and watch the water taxis to <ST1:place w:st="on">Cozumel</ST1:place>. <O:p> </O:p> Saturday we toured Tulum and then went snorkeling a Xel-HA. All in All a great time.., as always, in Mexico!!! ![]() |
