When a sh*t load of posters from this site get together in Playa to get their groove on. Many friends are made , and many drunks are uncovered.

You're confusing the two terms "Peep Meet" and "Peep Fest" which is a common mistake.

A Peep Meet is when peeps gather somewhere (usually a bar - what a surprises, huh!) and the Peep Meet is usually arranged via a thread here in the Forum a few weeks (or more) prior to the date.

Peep Fest had its inaugural this past February. There were close to 200 peeps in Playa all around the same time, and we had numerous events planned throughout the week.

We're also having Peepstock 2007 two weeks later. Click here to check it out.

To find out if there's a Peep Meet during your time in Playa, simply keep an eye on the Forum (usually in General or in Off Topics) to see if someone is arranging one.

OR... you could set one up yourself! Simply pick a place, date/time and start a thread. **Voila!!** You'll have a Peep Meet!!! Toss in some stickie name tags and a pen, and it'll be easier for new peeps to remember names (especially as the drinks flow and cervezas are enjoyed!!)

When the folks who spend time on this forum are in Playa at the same time, they have a get-together/ meeting/ what-have-you (a peep meet) in order to put real life to this little virtual community James has created here. When a whole big a$$ group of them plan to come here for the sole purpose of a week-long get-together (among other diversions, I'm sure), THAT is a Peep Fest. Lesson over.”

Ok, gotcha. So, as for the peepFEST, does everyone stay at the same hotel or do they just book whatever hotels are in the vincinity and just hook up at bars throughout the week? Curious.

Hi...you can stay wherever you want during Peep Fest....lots of peeps stay in town....and usually meet up during the day at Mamitas or other beach clubs...and always seem to find each other at night at the Beer Bucket...Tequila Barrel...or La Ranita....

There are lots of events being planned throughout the week....keep checking the board for threads giving details on the events....some of the things being planned are a special day on the Fat Cat....a day at Mamita's beach club...a Trivia Challenge...the Naughty Chica's Bar Crawl Part Dos...and Tony & Cheri are planning to do another Luna Blue Burger and Blenders Bash...and we are always open to ideas from peeps on any events they want to organize...

So, we are coming to Playa (finally...yahhhhooooooo!) on Feb 17 thru the 24. Just wondering if this peep fest is all younger folks or includes some elderly but fun peeps like ourselves (55-ish). Just wondering...like we aren't old fogie types, love a good time with any age peeps...but we don't want to look like idiots!

...........Iam the one that ends up looking like the idiot so you guys are safe...........you will have a ball and meet some great Peeps

Sounds like fun! And I'd have to amend that wereally don't stress too much about looking like idiots...mainly because of all the experience we've had

. We'll be there with at least one other couple new to Playa...maybe a couple more. I LOVE that place!!!

I'm chuckling to myself of course. We ride motorcycles with a group of peeps. And it's always you call your peeps, I'll call my peeps and we'll all meet in the middle. I love the peeps. Any peeps going May 18-27th. Love to meet you. This will be our 9th time in PDC. Our first time, there was maybe 3 resorts and it was just a little small fishing village. We are bringing a group of peeps.

We're also coming down with a group of friends, about a dozen, from May 17th to the24th.

I think we should plan a Peep Meet sometime shortly after we all arrive. We're staying on the north side of town and always hang out at Playa Tucan, now called Kool.

We could meet up there one day or at the Tequila Barrel (our bar away from home and jumping off point most nights) one evening for a couple of drinks.

Any other peeps in PDC in mid-May that want to get in on a Peep Meet?
