Caribbean Village Playacar

Can anyone give us some information on this resort? We are scheduled to go there in December. Did we make the right choice?

I am taking my family on 11/6 to CV Playacar and with my research I found nothing but positive responses about this resort. One drawback was that it was not on the beach, but the staff is very helpful and the grounds and hotel are kept very clean. I will post my experience when I return
