You see at the hotel that I stay in at Capitol Heights, Maryland is in a pretty rough neighborhood. The neighbor hood is so tough that to get lifeguards for the swimming pool, the management of the hotel must hire people from overseas to be lifeguards.

Anyways this year we've been having lifeguards from the former Eastern block nations such as Romania,Bulgaria etc, nice group of people, they are good representatives of their homelands.

As usual before I go for my swim I workout for about an hour, and today I guess it was kinda warm here in the DC metro area. After finishing my workout I go through the lobby and one of the lifeguards was in the lobby getting a cup of coffee. This kid is from Bulgaria I know this because I talk to him quite a bit, asked me what I was doing all this time? I told him I was skipping rope which I do for about an hour.

He says man it's too hot out there today. I ask him how old are you? 21 he says. 21, I just turned 47 a week ago ,three months ago I almost wasn't comming down for breakfast, and you tell me it's too ot out there.

I then ask him does it get this warm in Bulgaria? He says sure, it gets to be about this hot where I live, but I don't go out.

I still could go out and do an extra hour on the rope if I wanted to. I've come along ways baby ****en ya.

in retrospect, I really shouldn't have added that particular four-letter word to the "shows up as asterisks" function on the forum. I think we killed the whole feel of the post.
