Album Review

G. Love & Special Sauce have always made casual, unassuming music -- front porch/backyard-hangin' type stuff. Where the band really elevates their game is in the inspiration they find in just being casual and unassuming. The Philly fellas' seventh LP is another example of that talent; like a soulful Seinfeld, Love can sing about nothing and sound wicked-cool doing it. A pocket call becomes the basis for "Can't Go Back to Jersey," while "Thanks and Praises" gives both for all the little things that keep life funky. Featuring guest spots from Ben Harper and Jack Johnson, Lemonade brings the Sauce back to the hip-hop and blues-based "ragmop" of their early years and sounds more fresh-squeezed than ever.

Cool...He is trying to get it to be the #1 downloaded album...close very close....check out Banger and Let the music Play!!! One has Ben Harper singing with him....I just missed him in Vegas earlier this month...Wanting to go see a show with Him Jack Donavan and Ben...that would be the bomb!!!!
