Chemical Spill In Dover!
 This is from the local news. All we got here at home was a phone call to stay in the house with doors and windows closed and wait for another call! State police have said the spill originated from a rail car that has forced the closure of U.S. 13 in the area of Del. Tech. at Reichold Chemical Company, State Police Spokesperson Jeff Whitmarsh said. Tim Colendaniel, Cheswold Volunteer Fire Company, said officials have evacuated a five-mile radius. Second phone call saying to stay inside while the tv crawler says evacuate! Gotta love news too... phone call came 1 hour after first posted news report, one site says evacs started at 6:30pm and another says 8pm
I'm saving the reports to take into the paper I work for on Monday, maybe it could be an interesting story?!?! I'm just an ad rep so I don't know what editorial will think. I figure I'll just hang tight but my dog is goig to not be happy if he needs to use a training pad in the morning!  |

Sandy & I took the Cobra for a cruise last night and you could smell a chemical in the air as far South as Route10.
As for taking it into Editorial...be careful...uncharted grounds for you Ad folks! Take someone to watch your back!  |
