Hubby is from Bartlesville and his parents still live there; my parents are in OKC right now. We lived in Tulsa for 7 years before moving back here to Texas. I liked Tulsa--it is a great town for raising a family. We go to visit the area 2 or 3 times a year.

That's true, but we don't have great shopping like Dallas

Do you know that I've found this saying "Oklahoma is OK" to have affected the natives? I am always surprised to hear Oakies say things like "this is a chicken shit city/state!"

My daughter has decided she'll be the female version of Will Rogers. While in Europe, she signed every guest book at the castles, cathedrals, churches etc. and added a "Come to Oklahoma...the best state in the Union."

Woodland Hills Mall is kind of boring I LOVE the Galleria in Dallas (though too expensive), but there is something about the posh, gorgeous, uppity atmosphere that attracts me PLUS, lets not forget the outlet malls Our lame excuse for an outlet mall was blown away in 1999's tornado, and they haven't rebuilt.
