For thousands of years, the belief in the universal relevance and importance of numbers has guided countries and cultures. Each individual has a number that defines who they are as a person, describes character traits, and predicts the timing of and they're reaction to, their greatest triumphs and worst tragedies.

Your personal number is arrived at by adding the numbers in your date of birth. All double-digit numbers are added together to create a single digit number (1-9).

Here's an example:

Actress Julia Roberts was born on October 28th, 1967.

1. October is the tenth month, so we have to add the one and the zero of ten (1+0) to get 1 as her month number.

2. Next we add the two and the eight of 28 (2+8). This equals 10. Again we add the double digits and get 1. So Julia's Month number and her day number are both 1.

3. Then we add up her year: 1+9+6+7=23. Adding 2 and 3 together gives us 5.

4. Finally, we add Julia's month number (1) and her day number (1) to her year number (5) 1+1+5 = 7.
